While someone may initially come to therapy because they are experiencing feelings of sadness, imbalance, or overwhelm, we always end up working on something else simultaneously. This continuously shows up as self-love, self-esteem, and confidence.
The first few sessions together are typically spent getting to know one another and making sure we are a good fit and that you feel comfortable. Along the way I will assist you in creating goals for therapy. This is usually tackling the things that brought you to therapy in the first place. Often times we uncover other issues or struggles to be worked through as well and address these also when you are ready. I will tailor your sessions to your unique needs and goals.
I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, on an array of different issues.
Currently I continue to work with adolescents and adults. From time to time I will include family members or a partner or spouse of a client in therapy sessions as I deem necessary.
